Dog warden will now put up a sign to warn people he is in the area
Seaton’s successful campaign to collar irresponsible pet owners is being given a higher profile.
The resort’s dog warden has now been armed with an official town council sign warning people in which area he is operating.
Cllr Peter Burrows took it out for a trial run along with his faithful hound, Scrappy, last week.
He said: “We have been very successful in Seaton, prosecutions by both us and EDDC have fallen which is a clear vindication of having our own dog warden.
