A SEATON man has been convicted of harassment and assault, and sentenced to a total of 14 weeks in prison suspended for two years.
A SEATON man has been convicted of harassment and assault, and sentenced to a total of 14 weeks in prison - suspended for two years.Neil Pinnock (pictured), 40, of Fore Street, was convicted of assaulting David Clark at the Famous George Inn pub in January this year. Pinnock sent his ex-girlfriend, who also lives in Seaton, a series of abusive and threatening mobile texts. He pleaded guilty to harassing the woman when he appeared at Central Devon Magistrates' Court last month. A restraining order was imposed, prohibiting Pinnock from further contact with her. He was also ordered to pay �100 compensation and has been given an exclusion order from visiting the Famous George Inn for two years. Another requirement of his suspended sentence include attending an integrated domestic abuse programme.
