Monument to be erected to mark 60 years on the throne
SEATON Town Council has agreed to put up a monument to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
Members backed a resolution from John Meakin to put aside money in the next two budgets to erect a permanent monument in a prominent position in the town to mark the occasion.
