Although Saturday, August 9, was unsettled, the sun came out on Sunday long enough for many to enjoy the Combpyne Manor garden, open as part of the National Gardens Scheme. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Nicky and Donald Campbell, who have nurtured this wonderful three acre garden, plus the volunteers and visitors for enabling the Seaton Visitor Centre Trust to raise a remarkable £145 through serving refreshments over the weekend.
