WOOL-FUL women from Seaton's Age Concern have knit an island - complete with a hut, islanders, boats and fish.
The knitting hopes to raise awareness and funds for Seaton based UK charity Seed International Fund Trust (SIFT), which runs a project in Nicaragua to re-house poor fishing families who have lost their island homes.
The complete knitted project will be on display on Thursday, March 18, between 2pm and 4pm at Number One, Harepath Road, Seaton.
The members will be serving a Devon cream tea. For more information on SIFT, contact Jon Sibley on (01297) 22484 or email info@seed-trust.com
