CROCUSES at Forde Abbey are flourishing despite the recent spate of cold weather and snow.The blossoming comes despite the National Trust's report that there had been a fall in the numbers of flowers blooming in their gardens.And the flowering comes in time for Crocus Week - running from Sunday, March 1, to Sunday, March 8.Abbey owner Mark Roper said he is bemused by the Trust's plight.He said: "I don't think the recent cold weather has had much impact on the spring bulbs here.
