A COLLECTING tin has been stolen from the counter of a Honiton fish and chip shop.
The tin, which was tied to the counter at Chippy Joe's, in New Street, was nearly full when it disappeared earlier this week.
It contained cash destined for TRIP Community Transport Association.
TRIP's manager Neil Hurlock said: "It is very kind of Chippy Joe's to have our tin there and the generosity of customers is much appreciated in helping us.
