Serious accident closes A35 near Shute

One person believed to have suffered life changing injuries and drivers warned to expect delays

Police were informed at 9.25am today (July 7) of a collision between a Mazda saloon and a HGV lorry on the A35 near Shute, Axminster.

Closures are in place both eastbound and westbound of the incident.

One person is believed to have suffered a serious, life changing arm injuries. Emergency services are at the scene and Air ambulance was reported to be en route.

Delays are expected, please avoid the area,, police have advised.
