Serious assault in New Street, Honiton

A 19-year-old Bristol man was left with a broken nose and a fractured eye socket after an assault in Honiton.

A 19-year-old Bristol man was left with a broken nose and a fractured eye socket after an assault in Honiton.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which happened at about 12.45am on Saturday (July 25).

The youth was attacked as he walked in New Street.

Three men assaulted him, punching and kicking him as he lay on the ground.

One of the suspects was wearing an England football shirt. All three were aged between 20 and 30.
