Police and ambulance crews attended the scene of a serious collision between a lorry and vehicle earlier today (Friday, June 12).
The incident occurred at around 2.30pm on the A35 near Raymond’s Hill and Red Cross Junction in Axminster.
A police spokesman said traffic is stationary at Raymond’s Hill and diversions are in place at Lyme Road and the Charmouth roundabout.
The collision involved a lorry and VW Polo.
Motorists can expect long delays, and should avoid the area for the considerable future.
