SHAVING foam for cardmaking?

Actually, yes! Just one of the many tricks demonstrated by Christine Saunders to members of Honiton Craft Club yesterday (Wednesday).

Always a favourite, Christine managed to cram in over a dozen different ways to make and embellish cards, including marbling, watercolour painting aspects using household salt, acrylic spritzing, squidging irridescent paints for multi-coloured butterflies, stamping two-colour leaves, glue pens and glitter, applying stamped images onto candles, foiling and a novel way of blowing through a straw to cause a blob of ink to materialise into an oriental tree.

Three new members joined, but more new members will be welcome. Contact Anne, 01404 47717, for further details. March 25 is scheduled "Easter Workshop". Please bring usual crafting items - scissors, craft knife, ruler, glue, etc. As usual we meet at Meadowview Chapel, Kings Street between 10am and noon.
