SHUTE primary school fought off regional competition to win a radio competition called School's got talent.
The school was awarded a �500 cash prize from Heart FM and pupils will perform in front of 10,000 people at the switching on of the Christmas lights in Exeter next Tuesday (November 17).
Twenty-two pupils, aged four to 10 years of age, impressed a panel of judges when they sang Arms of an Angel.
Music teacher Sarah Ryan said: "We are just so immensely proud of the children's achievement. They are so talented, considering their ages - it's amazing.
