Six people were rescued at Charmouth yesterday, August 20. Reports of the three adults and three children, cut off by the tide, reached the Lyme Regis RNLI at 6.11pm.

Reports of the three adults and three children, cut off by the tide, reached the Lyme Regis RNLI at 6.11pm.
A lifeboat was launched, but, due to heavy swell, it stood off while the coastguard helicopter winched people to safety. They were landed at Lyme Regis golf course.
