The wall is the last of three projects brought to the town through Section 106 money - cash collected by East Devon District Council (EDDC) from developers as part of planning agreements.
A brand new £15,000 sports activity wall has been opened at Honiton’s Allhallows playing field.
The wall is the last of three projects brought to the town through Section 106 money - cash collected by East Devon District Council (EDDC) from developers as part of planning agreements.
Honiton mayor Caroline Kolek attended the official opening and tried out the new facilities.
EDDC has agreed to pay the ongoing maintenance and inspection costs of the sports activity wall once it is in place. The other two projects were a petanque court at Mountbatten Sports and Social Club and a permanent safety barrier around one of the rugby pitches at Allhallows Field.
