WEATHER forecasters were predicting possibly the coldest winter in 100 years as snow reached the region this morning.
WEATHER forecasters were predicting possibly the coldest winter in 100 years as snow reached the region this morning.
After overnight temperatures dipped as low at -8 in some parts, icy roads were already a problem when it started snowing.
The first flakes in Lyme Regis fell shortly after 7.15am.
Our photograph shows the top of Queens Walk at 7.30am and it is still snowing.
More snow is forecast throughout today and tomorrow.
