Yeovil Town will show off their N Power League One play-off final winners trophy.
YEOVIL Town Football Club will parade through Lyme Regis tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) to celebrate their success with their local supporters.
The Somerset club was promoted to The Championship at the end of last season.
The club’s customised Mini and members of the successful ladies team will be in Lyme Regis, showing off the N Power League One play-off final winners trophy.
The Glovers will arrive at around 1.30pm and spend the afternoon in the town, when the public will be able to take pictures with the trophy.
Lyme Regis Town Council has welcomed the visit.
Coun Jill Newton, chairman of the tourism and advertising committee, said: “We are delighted to welcome Yeovil Town Football Club to Lyme Regis to celebrate their triumph in being promoted to The Championship for the first time, and wish them every success for the future.
“It’s good for the visitors to the town to see how local support is flourishing in the area.”
