Axminster: St John Ambulance bosses confirmed they will continue to operate in Axminster after the charity carried out a property review across the country.

St John Ambulance Hall, in Honiton, is to close this year.

Philip Walker, fleet and facilities manager for St John Ambulance South West, said: “Currently, the number of active volunteers in Honiton is such that the most effective course of action is for them to operate from nearby units, such as Exeter or Axminster.”
