Staff and students at Honiton Community College are currently taking on 24 triathlons in 24 hours to raise money for the town's Admiral Nurse campaign.

The testing fundraiser kicked off earlier today (Thursday), with college principal Glenn Smith on the rowing machine, student Luke Chambers on the exercise bike and Herald reporter Callum Lawton on the treadmill.

Participants will continue the fundraiser overnight, with the exhausting challenge finishing at 1.30pm tomorrow.

A £150,000 goal has been set by fundraisers to bring an Admiral Nurse to serve Honiton and the surrounding areas.

So far, more than £20,000 has been raised in just more than six months.
