COUNCILLORS in Seaton will support the Transition Town Movement provided it does not reduce the standard of living for residents.

COUNCILLORS in Seaton will support the Transition Town Movement - provided it does not reduce the standard of living for residents.Seaton Town Council this week supported Cllr Claire Wise's suggestion to support any company or person who would make the town less dependent on energy from the consumption of fossil fuels.However, it also agreed that any such measures must be democratic, voluntary and lawful. It also put on the condition that all reasonable demand for energy would not be compromised.
