TWO cheques totalling £3,686 were given to charity by an Axminster man - following his gruelling 11 day cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats.Steve Norman, of Bonner's Drive, gave £2,081 to the Motor Neurone Disease Association and £1,605 to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.Mr Norman said: "I would like to thank my sponsors: Numatic International, Powermount Embroidery, The Lamb Inn, Axe Valley Natural Health, Copy Cats, Tytherleigh Arms Hotel, Crewkerne Concrete, and Mosterton Road Body Repairs."Also, I'm grateful to the various individuals who made generous donations towards my expenses. Without such organisations and people, I would not have been able to do the ride.
