STOCKLAND village raised over 2,000 in aid of the Haiti earthquake appeal with a fundraising morning.
The village, which held a coffee morning with stalls, will be able to buy four Shelterboxes for the disaster area.
Organiser Jill Bellamy said: "This is a tremendous amount to raise from such a small community.
"It was very heart-warming to see over 100 people turn up for the event. There was such a warm community feel in the hall, with everyone chatting to each other.
"I think we also benefited from the occasion, which I believe is what Stockland is all about.
