Weather warnings have been issued for high winds tonight (Thursday, September 20) as Storm Bronagh blows in.
The MET Office is warning that winds of up to 50mph inland and 65mph in coastal areas could cause a ‘danger to life’.
Weather experts say ‘Storm Bronagh’ brings the ‘potential’ for very strong winds this evening and into tomorrow morning and have warned people to expect some damage to buildings as well as falling trees and branches.
According to the MET Office, power cuts may also happen and there is a risk of injury or ‘danger to life’ from large waves and beach materials being thrown onto seafronts, coastal roads and properties.
