Street pastors set for night role in Honiton?

STREET pastors could soon be tending to drunks and helping vulnerable people home from a night out in Honiton.

STREET pastors could soon be tending to drunks and helping vulnerable people home from a night out in Honiton.

Honiton Town Council heard at a meeting on Monday that pastors are already working on the streets of Exmouth and Exeter.

Pc Ian Atyeo, Neighbourhood Beat Manager, said the idea was to keep people safe.

However, he added: "I'm not sure they would have a great deal of work to do in Honiton.
