Sea Seeker gives Shirley Anne a helping hand after she breaks down four miles out to sea
A LYME Regis fishing boat went to the aid of another trawler after she broke down yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
The skipper of the Shirley Anne, which had one other person on board, called coastguards, at around 5pm, to report that he had engine failure, nearly four miles southwest of the resort.
The nearby Lyme-based Sea Seeker, responded to a VHF call for assistance by Portland Coastguard and towed the stricken craft back into Lyme Harbour.
