Archant

Guitarist Archie makes the grade in just 15 months.

A young musician has struck a chord in the world of guitar playing by becoming one of the youngest people in the South West to achieve his grades in only 15 months.

Archie Cruze, who is a pupil at Awliscombe Primary School, was awarded a pass, two distinctions and a merit for his acoustic guitar grades one to four.

The 10-year-old has been supported and encouraged by his guitar teacher Colin Bentley, of Ottery St Mary.
