Lyme Regis rescue team called to Charmouth after reports of a pet in peril on the cliffs

Lyme Regis Coastguards were called to Charmouth yesterday (Sunday) after reports of a dog stuck on the cliffs.

The unit arrived at the scene just before 1pm to meet the informant. Soon afterwards it was established that the owners had recovered the dog and all were safe and well.
