Honiton Community College students take part in enterprise challenge.

Honiton Community College students swapped their normal lessons to take on the challenge of setting up their own businesses.

The A Level and year 10 students took part in an enterprise challenge as part of the Money Sense for Schools programme and were mentored by staff from NatWest.

The event challenged students to develop their own company, assigning roles, choose a company name and logo, and to organise an event where they would be catering for 100 guests at a special dinner.

This involved researching menus, putting together costings and putting a tender presentation together, which was presented to judges on the day.
