Honiton Community College students recieve town council awards.

Hard working students from Honiton were recognised for their achievements and presented with the latest town council awards.

Honiton Community College students Ellie Began, Amberina Askew, Scott Retter, Heather Prince, Lauren Hunt, Luke Spiller, Ben Patch, Holly James, Alex Jackson and Beth Sillitoe were presented with certificates and WH Smith vouchers by the mayor, Councillor David Foster at Honiton Town Council’s monthly meeting last week.

It was a special night for Alex Jackson and Beth Sillitoe, who were jointly nominated for the award for their involvement in the college’s end of term production Schools Will Rock You.

They have been the main driving forces behind the show - producing, directing and organising the event.
