Visitors try out their bartering skills.

Bartering and swapping skills were the talk of the town at the inaugural Sustainable Saturday event in Honiton.

The Mackarness Hall was bustling with visitors of all ages during the event, held at the weekend, which is being run by Transition Town Honiton (TTH).

Visitors were able to try out their bartering skills as well as swap items they no longer wanted or needed.

The next event is being held on February 2, from 9am, also in the Mackarness Hall. TTH is looking for volunteers to help with the event each month.

Anyone interested in volunteering or having a stall is urged to call 07447 597390 for more information.
