Success for Scouts roof appeal

Jumble sale and auction helps 1st Whimple Scouts raise much needed funds to pay for remaining building costs.

A jumble sale in aid of the 1st Whimple Scouts’ roof appeal has been hailed a huge success.

The sale and auction raised £520 - just over a quarter of the money needed to pay the remaining £2,000 building costs.

The group hope to raise the rest of the money by Christmas.
