A POLICE and Communities Together meeting in Axminster has been deemed a success by town councillors.

A POLICE and Communities Together meeting in Axminster has been deemed a success by town councillors.

Around 100 people visited the 'Let's talk' meeting at The Guildhall last month, where they could put forward issues of concern in the town.

Representatives from East Devon District Council, Devon county highways, the local policing team and town councillors attended.

Cllr Jeremy Walden said: "I thought it was excellent and a lot of people walked away from that, I'm sure, feeling a lot better.
