A family maths evening added up to a fun night out for pupils and parents at Woodroffe School recently.
It was organised to help parents understand how the subject is taught at the comprehensive and how they can support their children.
The evening was run on a very practical basis, with parents having to bravely tackle mathematical challenges in the same way that their children are taught in lessons.
Neil Vincent, head of mathematics, said: βIt was fantastic to see everyone participating in the practical tasks.β
