On show will be he latest 2D and 3D artwork created by Dorset and Devon artists.

If you are an artist living in Devon or Dorset, it is not too late to put your original 2D or 3D artwork into the Summer Open, being held from Friday, August 3 to Wednesday August 15 at the Malthouse Gallery at the Town Mill in Lyme Regis.

Entry forms for up to three works are available on the Town Mill Artists website, and handing in will be tomorrow (Thursday, August 2).

This annual feature in the gallery’s calendar is always popular with visitors and residents alike as it affords them the opportunity to buy the latest paintings, sculpture, ceramics, prints and photographs created by local artists.

Organisers say there is no better way to remember this golden summer on the Jurassic coast than by taking home a memento from this inspiring showcase.

The Summer Open is on daily, 10.30am to 4.30pm, admission is free. Further details or by contacting
