A DIRECT bus link between Honiton and Exeter is being sought by the Senior Council, and now has the backing of Honiton Town Council.

A DIRECT bus link between Honiton and Exeter is being sought by the Senior Council, and now has the backing of Honiton Town Council.Councillors agreed to support the request at their meeting on Monday, August 11.Councillor Vernon Whitlock, who chairs the Senior Council, said: "At the moment we have to go either via Ottery St Mary or Sidmouth."I gather a survey that was carried out showed there was no business case for a direct link to Exeter, but that was carried out in the 80s."Things have changed quite a bit since then and I have requested a meeting with Devon County Council and I am asking for the town council's support.
