Many, many thanks to our local supporters who enabled us to send £692.33 to Audrey Williams, who is the South West regional fund manager for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Over £609 was raised on the stall in Lace Walk on July 19, and Ray, of Hermitage Antiques, kindly sold some items for us and handed over a cheque for £83. This money will enable the 80 dedicated scientists to continue in their expensive, ground-breaking work, which will hopefully correct the faulty gene - this will have the potential to prevent 90 per cent of deaths from cystic fibrosis. It is only with the help of people like you that the CF Trust will be able to fund this vital work. Beautifull Days will be at Escot from 15 to 17 August - we will be there on the 15th with a stall outside the cafe, a raffle and hopefully face-painting. Hope to see some of you there. Our next stall in Lace Walk will be on November 1. Liz Brown Honiton
