CRIME detection rates are up in Axminster and police believe it is due to the apprehension of a suspected prolific offender.

CRIME detection rates are up in Axminster and police believe it is due to the apprehension of a suspected prolific offender.Speaking during the full town council meeting on Tuesday, PC Darren Herridge said an individual believed to have committed five offences had been arrested.He added that there were believed to be one or two drug addicts in the town responsible for increased criminal activity.
