Live music, poetry, dance and comedy at the Boston Tea Party.

SWEET Black Angels have confirmed they will be performing in Honiton to raise cash for the Beehive Community Centre.

The folk-rock band will deliver an acoustic rendition of their work at the Boston Tea Party, in High Street, on August 11 - ahead of their appearance at Tiger Tiger in Cardiff for another Noel Gallagher’s Aftershow Party.

The Beehive Benefit Bash will also feature other local bands and starts at 7.30pm, with advance tickets going on sale soon.

Friends of the Beehive fund-raiser Sharon Pavey said: “We’ll have a few local bands, poetry and, hopefully, dance and a bit of comedy, too - if we can fit it all in!

“It should be a really great night and should boost our fund-raising total which currently stands at just under 15,000.”

Winners of the 100 prizes draw will be announced at the event.

Tickets are 5 in advance (7 on the door) and will be available from Boston Tea Party, Honiton Toy Shop and Wendy’s Cookshop.
