Sweet Black Angels' Volunteer gig

HONITON rockers Sweet Black Angels are back on the road to promote their second album, Expect The Waking. All members of the band will take part in the promotion, which kicks off at The Volunteer Inn, Honiton, on Sunday.

HONITON rockers Sweet Black Angels are back on the road - to promote their second album, Expect The Waking.All members of the band will take part in the promotion, which kicks off at The Volunteer Inn, Honiton, on Sunday.Sweet Black Angels has been steadily building its fan base through dedicated websites and even a newsletter. The band now boasts a new Facebook group as well, with more than 300 members.Front man Scott Phillips said more members are joining the group by the day.Acoustic gigs, in between full band appearances, are continuing. Scott and Smoo performed in Cheltenham last week.Sweet Black Angels perform their own brand of original folk-rock music. Expect The Waking was launched at The Pit Club just before Christmas.The album is available to buy from Honiton Music Shop.
