Talk on Tuscany at next Lyme U3A meeting

Christopher Legrand will explore the region’s traditions, history and artistic legacy.

The Heritage Coast U3A welcomes back Christopher Legrand on Wednesday, May 9, to its meeting at Woodmead Halls, in Lyme Regis. He returns with his newest presentation, ‘The Grandeur and Art of Tuscany’.

Known for its landscapes, traditions, history, artistic legacy, Tuscany is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.

In this demonstration of its beauty and significance, Christopher takes his audience to some of the historic towns, enjoying aspects of the Tuscan artistic heritage.

The talk is at 11am, with coffee or tea available from 10am. Entrance is free to U3A members, non-members are encouraged to make a £2 donation towards the talk.
