Talk on Vietnam and the Far East at Lyme Regis

History of this rapidly developing country will be outlined by experienced traveller Christopher Legrand.
Monthly talks for the Heritage Coast U3A have returned to their spring and summer Wednesday morning slot, beginning on April 12 with an illustrated talk on the history, culture and scenery of Vietnam.
Christopher Legrand is an experienced traveller, photographer and public speaker who will offer insights into a rapidly developing country.
He will describe meeting with Buddhist nuns, and visiting Thailand and Indonesia as well as Vietnam. His presentation culminates in a close encounter with a Komodo Dragon.
The talk is at 11am in Woodmead Halls, with coffee or tea available from 10am. Entrance is free to U3A members; non-members are encouraged to make a £2 donation.
