TEENAGERS were caught drinking alcohol on school grounds in Axminster.Police apprehended two 15-year-olds, two 16-year-olds and two 17-year-olds, with a big crate of beer and other booze.The children's parents were contacted and the 15 year-olds were picked up following the incident. Neighbourhood beat manager PC Darren Herridge said: "We want to send out the message that under age drinking will not be tolerated in Axminster and we will continue to patrol around their regular haunts and will act robustly."But he warned parents not to allow their children to drink in the town or for adults to buy alcohol on their behalf.He said: "We would like to remind parents and adults not to purchase alcohol for minors. "If you do, you will be dealt with through the criminal justice system.
