MORE than 150 people visited the popular Tram of Terror at Colyton - with many dressing for the Hallowe'en occasion.

Students from Bedfordshire University and specialist make-up artists attended for the second year running, helping to create the desired ghoulish atmosphere.

Demand was so great that another two trams were put on - and organisers said another could have been filled.

Seaton Tramway office assistant Shirley Reeves said: "It was a successful day. All the trams were decorated and everybody got into the swing of it.

"There was a great atmosphere and the Bedfordshire students helped to add another dimension to the occasion. Everybody really enjoyed it."

The fun and games ran from 4pm to 7pm, and included entertainment from 'George the Magician.'
