Having read the content of the letter, it seems to me that all she was doing was probing their commitment to Seaton.

Presuming the financial numbers given are accurate, there is something odd about it all, as nothing seems to stack up.

Anybody with a degree of intelligence must, by now, be starting to question the whole affair.

It would seem to me Tesco has bought a "pig in a poke" and don't know how to get out of it. Meanwhile, the town's appearance is becoming gradually more forlorn; disastrous in a tourist town, and discouraging to local business.

Ten out of ten Mrs Semple.
