From Honiton, Seaton and Lyme Regis the cry goes, Tesco is coming, oh no, many inhabitants declare! Why? What has the company done, or not?Seldom have I read such concentrated effort to rubbish and, in some cases, vilify a great British company.Who are the people writing this? Snobs, perhaps. Politics, could it be a combination of class and snobs? In truth I'm not surprised when a great British company becomes a byword in the world, charting success, employing up to 100,000 people (worldwide). The English, in particular, start giving them a good kicking.Thank goodness they, Tesco, will prosper notwithstanding.PS: Yes, I am English.Peter Draper Marsh Road, Seaton
