A DONATION of £10 from Tesco helped volunteers raise £60 for Honiton Community College. The school's parents, staff and teachers' association used the donation to buy ingredients to bake cakes. The treats were sold from a stall outside St Paul's Church during last week's traditional hot pennies day. Organisers would like to thank Tesco, Sandra Foxwell, Deborah Chapman, David Young and Mrs E Hedges for their help. The association, which has raised £4,000 in 18 months, is currently seeking a new chairman and a minute taker.
