TESCO will present its regeneration proposals for Seaton to town and district councillors tomorrow (Thursday, April 17).

TESCO will present its regeneration proposals for Seaton to town and district councillors tomorrow (Thursday, April 17).Representatives of the supermarket chain will meet with members of East Devon District Council and Seaton Town Council at the Knowle in Sidmouth at 1pm.Tesco says it wants to help Seaton aspire to new heights, seeing it as a future principal destination for tourists.A spokesman from PR Dogs, acting on behalf of Tesco, told the Herald in a statement: "Having acquired the regeneration site from previous developers Liatrus, Tesco is keen to ensure, through wide consultation, that the regeneration scheme delivers the best possible package of long-term benefits to Seaton and its residents. "We want to enable the town to take its rightful place as the principal, sustainable tourism destination and visitor attraction on the Jurassic Coast.
