AN EASTER thanksgiving service for Care in the Community will take place at St Gregory's Parish Church, Seaton, on Wednesday, April 1, at 3.30pm.
AN EASTER thanksgiving service for Care in the Community will take place at St Gregory's Parish Church, Seaton, on Wednesday, April 1, at 3.30pm.The short informal service, which includes communion, will last around 30 minutes and there will be an Easter blessing for those attending on leaving church.The church will be open from 2.30pm for people to catch up with friends before the service starts.Vicar, the Reverend Jeremy Trew, said: "As always we hope people will join us for afternoon tea and cakes in the church hall."The service and tea, which will end around 5pm, is aimed at those who work as a carer and for those they look after, but all are welcome.Wheelchair access is available and a loop hearing system is in place.
