My comments relate to the Herald's story (Axe Valley edition) about Reverend Janet Webber and her female partner.Firstly, we are not judging but the Christian Bible states quite clearly in Romans chapter 1, verses 26/27 and also 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 9 that the practice of homosexuality is an abomination to God. Has the Reverend not read the scriptures or does she think she can ignore those parts of the Bible she chooses to?Secondly, evangelical Christians believe the Bible is the inspired of God, 1 Timothy chapter 3, verse 16, and we should not add or delete anything from it (Revelation chapter 22, verses 18/19).The Church of England is in complete disarray because of clergy like Reverend Webber who are not preaching the truth and are watering down God's word. This country is now totally secular because people have lost trust in the church and no wonder when the clergy are setting such an example. Mr & Mrs R Williams Hammonds Mead Charmouth
