Dramatic scenes as rescuers lead missing boy to safety.
THESE dramatic pictures, taken by James Woollacott, show the moment an 11-year-old Honiton boy was led to safety after spending a night on cliffs.
He survived atrocious gale force winds and driving rain, after becoming separated from friends during a walk between Branscombe and Sidmouth last Saturday.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency, which mounted a search and rescue operation to find the missing boy on Sunday morning, later said it was thrilled to have found him unharmed.
The boy’s family has told The Midweek Herald they are unable to talk about the incident at this time.
