Dedication to her faith and duties shines.
Everywhere I go I see bunting. East Devon is gearing up for celebrations next week and it’s great to see communities pulling together to make something of this national celebration of Her Majesty’s 60 years on the throne.
I do admire Her Majesty the Queen – not just because I am meant to (she is my boss, after all – the ‘Supreme Governor of the Church of England’) but because I have grown to realise just how strong her own faith is and seen that she is unafraid to talk about it both openly and humbly.
Alongside her own deep, personal commitment to Christ she also shows a great respect to those who hold different views and opinions and to members of other faith communities.
In Queen Elizabeth’s dedication to her faith and her duties and in her attitude to others she is an example to us all. God bless the Queen!
